Hey there! Welcome to my blog, and thank you for stopping by! My name is Dominik, and I’m thrilled to have you here. At 24 years old, I hail from the stunning coastal country of Croatia, a place many seasoned cruisers have likely explored. You might recognize me from Instagram, where I’m the face behind the Cruise Ship Paradise account (@cruiseshipparadise). After eight years of running my Instagram profile and being an unofficial cruise lover, I’ve now ventured into the world of cruise travel agency as well!

I started Cruise Ship Paradise on Instagram nearly five years ago in April 2016. My goal was simple: to share my passion for cruising and cruise ships with the world. To date, 135 thousand of you have joined this wonderful cruising community, and I’m incredibly grateful for each and every one of you!

As a college student, cruising and posting about it is more than just a hobby—it’s a passion. While I may not cruise as often as I’d like due to budget constraints, I make the most of every opportunity. In my spare time, I enjoy writing, posting, and interacting with the vibrant cruise community we’ve built on Instagram. Additionally, I’m deeply fascinated by ship design and the intricate process of constructing these maritime marvels. You’ll often find me engrossed in cruise ship documentaries or indulging in a bit of ship spotting at the port.

My love affair with ships dates back to my childhood, but it was seeing the Costa Mediterranea in my hometown of Split, Croatia, that ignited my desire to embark on a cruise adventure. Convinced my family to join me on our first cruise, and here we are… twenty five cruises later! What I’ve come to realize is that cruising offers a vacation experience like no other—it’s simultaneously relaxing and adventurous, with something for everyone. With my wealth of cruise experiences, I’m eager to share my insights and assist you with any cruising-related questions you may have.
